Develop your operational skills ~ 12 months
From cooking and service, to reception and housekeeping – the first two semesters focus your training on the operational side of the industry.
Note: It is recommended to have at least 6 months’ work experience before starting the program.
Practice your operational skills ~ 6 months
During a six-month paid internship in Switzerland at a hotel or restaurant of your choice, you will bring your newly acquired knowledge and skills into the real world.
Delve deeper into the fundamentals of management ~ 6 months
Not just the theory, but also in practice: put your knowledge into action by bringing your creative ideas to life with real-life projects.
Learn to manage projects, and present and sell your ideas to other students, staff and guests while developing your leadership skills.
Practice your management skills ~ 12 months
During the management internship, you’ll be able to put your new skills into practice. You were trained to take on managerial responsibilities, so now you will apply your knowledge in a real-life management role.
The management internship can be done in Switzerland or anywhere else in the world.
Get specialized by choosing a major ~ 6 months
Within your chosen specialization - either Culinary Arts or Spa & Wellness Management, you will develop your entrepreneurial skills further by creating a business plan with an external business partner.
You will need to find solutions to financing questions, project and process management, marketing, and, in some cases, even legal questions.
Complete your Bachelor degree ~ 18 months
Complete your Bachelor's degree with just 3 additional semesters.
You will study subjects at an advanced level in business analysis, applied hospitality management, communication, and culture. You will choose electives in the areas that interest you the most. You will then complete your Bachelor with a final degree project.
Immerse yourself in the world of hospitality ~ 6 months
You will start your journey on the EHL Campus in Lausanne, Switzerland where you will rotate through 20 workshops and gain working knowledge of all areas of a hotel and restaurant, with the privilege of practicing in a Michelin-starred restaurant under the direction of industry-awarded chefs and instructors.
Operational Internship ~ 6 months
Then you’re off to internship for a 6-month adventure in the real world of hospitality management. You can choose to complete this internship anywhere in the world in a hotel, resort or restaurant, in an operational function.
Hospitality Management ~ 18 months
You will join the EHL Campus in Singapore to complete the next 3 semesters. You will build a strong set of fundamental skills for hospitality management positions in international organizations. And, you will make the transition from knowing management theory, to applying it in classroom projects and exploring more strategic areas of business.
Management Internship ~ 6 months
Then you’re off to internship for a 6-month management internship anywhere in the world where you will be given the possibility to take on greater responsibilities and apply the administrative and management concepts you have learned in class to real world hospitality projects, teams and departments.
Or you can choose to work on your own start-up business for six months.
Business Strategy ~ 6 months
You can choose to complete this semester in any of the 3 EHL campuses: Singapore, Lausanne or Passugg. You apply your knowledge and skills gained throughout the course to complete a Strategy Challenge working in groups as consultants on corporate strategy.
Business Innovation ~ 6 months
Back in Singapore, you can choose three electives subjects depending on your interest and career aspirations, so you can tailor make your skill sets depending on which path you choose after graduation.
You will also choose between a group or an individual project to complete your degree: Student Business Project or Thesis.
Immerse yourself in the World of Hospitality ~ 6 months
During the first 6 months of the Preparatory Year of the academic pathway, you will rotate through 20 workshops in the operational outlets, including a gourmet boutique, pastry and high-quality restaurants and rooms division departments to learn everything you need to know about hotel and restaurant operations.
Who can say they worked in a 1-star Michelin Restaurant during the first 6 months of their studies? YOU!
Operational Internship ~ 6 months
Then you’re off to internship for a 6-month adventure in the real world of hospitality management. You can choose to complete this internship anywhere in the world in a hotel, resort or restaurant, in an operational function.
Hospitality Management ~ 18 months
You will join the EHL Campus in Lausanne to complete the next 3 semesters. You will build a strong set of fundamental skills for hospitality management positions in international organizations. And, you will make the transition from knowing management theory, to applying it in classroom projects and exploring more strategic areas of business.
This will take your teamwork experience to the next level!
Management Internship ~ 6 months
Then you’re off to internship for a 6-month management internship anywhere in the world where you will be given the possibility to take on greater responsibilities and apply the administrative and management concepts you have learned in class to real world hospitality projects, teams and departments.
Or you can choose to work on your own start-up business for six months.

You can choose to complete your 5th semester in any of the 3 EHL campuses: Singapore, Lausanne or Passugg. You apply your knowledge and skills gained throughout the course to complete a Strategy Challenge working in groups as consultants on corporate strategy.
Back in Lausanne, you can choose three electives subjects depending on your interest and career aspirations, so you can tailor make your skill sets depending on which path you choose after graduation.
You will also choose between a group or an individual project to complete your degree: Student Business Project or Thesis.
